The midterm elections news cycle is… hectic. On any given day twenty polls could be released in different Congressional districts or for Senate races. Candidate A could say something horrendous and morally outrageous while candidate B stumps for a border wall half way across the country. In short, our minds are a mess when midterms season comes knocking. Often, we get lost in that mess.
In an effort to clear my head at the end of each day, as well as provide some data-driven insights that offer more detail about political takes than on Twitter but aren’t worth publishing in my real job, I’m publishing short ~300-word pieces every day on my Patreon feed. I’ve written 3 of such short posts so far:
- House Polls in August and September Predict Election Day Pretty Well
- What all these district polls mean for the Democrats
- Support for the Mueller probe is growing
